The school year is coming to an end, graduation is upon me, I have the impending doom of joblessness, and holiday stress on top of all that.
I’ve very much enjoyed my time at UCA and though I am glad for all the opportunities, I’m happy to be nearly finished. Mortician’s Assistant wouldn’t have happened had I not gained the confidence I needed as a writer. There will be more updates on that soon and I hope I find se time to draw myself.
In other writing news:
I’m working on some MA short stories, mostly Ian’s origin story. These will only be available to paid subscribers as they reveal things about Ian that will only be shown through his sporadic memories throughout the comic.
I’m also working on some historical ACPI stories about the agency’s origins as well. I honestly have loads of side stories so please stay tuned!

I’m working on a Western novel, very much in its infancy, but the characters are numerous and I fear many darlings may need to be killed to make it a feasible story. It’s heavily inspired by Red Dead Redemption 2, True Grit, and classic Westerns. I’m considering supernatural elements but I will need to feel it out and decide if I want it as part of that ACPI Case Files universe.

Defenders of Farfield my bug fantasy novel is written, but I am considering turning it into a webtoon. That’s not to say I won’t continue the novel, I just feel it would work better visually.
—
Finally, I’m revisiting older ideas – my science fiction novel, two choose your own adventure style games, and podcast ideas for ACPI Case Files.
That’s all for now, but while I job hunt I hope to find time to create more and more for everyone to enjoy!
